Kelly Green began its journey in 1997 when Perla Whitson decided to bring a little more life, and a lot more green, into local workspaces. With a deep love for plants and people, Perla, alongside her family, built a business rooted in personal service, reliability, and genuine care. From bustling lobbies to quiet office corners, Kelly Green has been transforming commercial spaces across Seattle, Bellevue, Kent, and Kirkland for over two decades.
Perla didn't just care for plants, she nurtured relationships. Her thoughtful approach earned the company a loyal client base, many of whom have trusted Kelly Green for more than 20 years (and counting).
Now, as Perla prepares to hang up her watering can for some well-earned relaxation, Ana Lia Barragan Echenique is stepping in as the new owner. Ana Lia brings a fresh perspective, along with 8 years of experience in tech leadership, project management, and data-driven operations. While her background may be rooted in pixels and process maps, her heart is set on keeping the Kelly Green spirit alive: personal, high-quality service with a leafy touch.
